The Republic of Armenia has applied for Preparation Grant in the amount of US$300,000 equivalent from the Climate Investment Funds Scaling-up Renewable Energy Program in Low Income Countries.
The World Bank has issued a general procurement notice for a geothermal development project in Armenia.

The project will include :
(i) Preparation of Environmental and social impact assessment for the project;
(ii) Preparation of resettlement policy framework for the project;
(iii) Design for construction
