Yesterday, geothermal energy generation provided nearly half of all renewable power in California.

In a recent analysis of a daily snapshot from California ISO regarding renewable power generation done by The Renewables Watch shows that geothermal has a very relevant position. The data shown in the report is specific for yesterday, the 2nd of December 2014.

According to the report, “The Renewables Watch provides important information about actual renewable production within the ISO grid as California moves toward a 33 percent renewable generation portfolio.
