BE Geothermal expected to start drilling in March 2012 in Germany

German developer BE Geothermal receives drilling permit for its Hoehenried West project in Southern Germany and is expected to start drilling preparations in March 2012.

Earlier this month, the responsible local mining authority in southern Germany as provided BE Geothermal, a geothermal developer in the Molasse Basin in Southern Germany, its first drilling permit at the Hoehnried West project site.

With the permit the company can now start its project, as all legal requirements and legislatory framework requirements are fulfilled.

The permit for the construction of the power plant is then expected in the next coming weeks.

It is expected that the drill pad can be built in March 2012, with an expected drilling start in the summer of 2012.
