Call for Abstracts, NZ Geothermal Workshop 2015
This year the workshop will be held on 18 – 20 November at the Waiariki Resort, Taupo, New Zealand.
The New Zealand Geothermal Workshop (NZGW), New Zealand’s longest running energy conference welcomes abstract submissions.
Our theme is: “The Next 10,000 Megawatts”
We welcome papers on all aspects of geothermal knowledge and methodologies.
Abstracts must be:
- No longer than 300 words
- Include only text – no images should appear in your abstract
- Uploaded in MS Word format (.doc or .docx)
- Submitted through the Submission Portal before 11.59pm, 30 June 2015
Abstracts can be submitted under any of the following themes:
- Geothermal Geology
- Geothermal Geochemistry
- Geothermal Geophysics
- Environmental Issues
- Geothermal Engineering – Reservoir Modelling
- Geothermal Engineering – Production and Management
- Geothermal Engineering – Drilling and Well Testing
- Direct Use
- TVZ
- The Next 10,000 Megawatts
Following review by the conference committee, accepted authors will be invited to submit a full paper to be considered for presentation in either oral or poster format.
Full papers must be:
- Uploaded in MS Word format (.doc or .docx)
- Following the NZGW 2015 Paper Template
- A maximum of 8 pages
