Chile and Bolivia to cooperate on geothermal development

Chile and Bolivia are exploring possibilities to cooperate on geothermal development and have founded a working group between the two neighboring countries.

Reported by Spanish news service Efe and picked up by Bloomberg, it is reported that there are talks between the two neighboring countries of Chile and Bolivia to “develop geothermal energy fields” jointly.

The piece cites the Chilene Minister for Energy Ricardo Rainieri. A working group is to figure out where areas of energy are and where the two countries could develop projects and cooperate.
