The third annual Turkish International Renewable Energy Congress (TIREC) will be held in Istanbul in September 2011 - and feature a two day conference focused solely on geothermal energy, GeoPower Turkey, September 20-21, 2011.

Just announced today, “the third annual Turkish International Renewable Energy Congress (TIREC) will be held in Istanbul in September this year – and for the first time will feature a two day conference focused solely on geothermal energy. GeoPower Turkey will provide a crucial forum for debate as the Turkish geothermal industry grows and investment floods into the sector.

Green Power’s GeoPower Series of events has seen rapid growth over the last three years, with the flagship GeoPower Europe conference and exhibition welcoming over 200 industry leaders to Paris in 2010. GeoPower Turkey is set to be an exciting addition to this portfolio.

Ruggero Bertani, Manager of Geothermal Business Development at Enel, has already confirmed his participation on the GeoPower Turkey speaker panel. Enel’s recent purchase of geothermal sites in Turkey was coupled with a great deal of optimism from the Italian utility, who see huge potential in the Turkish market particularly after the implementation of the renewable energy law and introduction of the feed in tariff. Don’t miss the chance to be at the forefront of this burgeoning industry and put your questions to the companies leading the way.
