LEGO has introduced a new set of toys, called Volcano Explorers, that gets as close as one can get to have kids play "geothermal".

Already reported on in late August, I still wanted to share this story. If you are looking for toys that let your kids play with what you work with on a daily basis, than this LEGO ® toy set will be the thing for you.

In partnership with Andres Ruzo, a National Geographic explorer, researcher and Ph.D. candidate at SMU in Texas, the set of toys was developed to encourage kids’ into scientific exploration.

LEGO ® will launch the sets at an event on September 29, 2016 at the Geological Society of London, UK.

You can learn more about the Volcano Explorers product line on the LEGO (TM) website.

I think this is as close as it gets to having your kids play “geothermal” … but where is the drilling rig and the power plant?
