HELCO postpones geothermal award for Hawaii
Hawaii Electric Light Co. (HELCO) has postponed the decision on the award of a contract for a 50 MW geothermal development on the Big Island of Hawaii. No new date is given.
Hawaii Electric Light Co. has missed a deadline to announce a decision on the award of a contract for a 50 MW geothermal development on the Big Island of Hawaii.
So on Monday, HELCO will determine a new date for the contract award.
There were six companies that provided bids in September for the project which is estimated to cost up to $200 million.
