Prime Minister Abe promises financial support for geothermal power development in Japan.
Following today’s earlier news stating that Japan might be the new “hot spot” for geothermal growth, a brief news piece in House of Japan announces that “expanded financial support will be allocated for geothermal power — and regulations in this area will become loosened — in an effort to promote the implementation of alternative energy” said Prime Minister Shinzo Abe in a an official visit to the Fukushima Prefecture.
