Hungarian Pannergy, through subsidiary DD Energy has signed a 17 year geothermal heat supply contract with a car factory of German car-maker Audi in Hungary.

DD Energy Termelo es Szolgaltato Kft, a wholly owned subsidiary of PannErgy, has – so local news – signed a contract with Audi Hungary on geothermal heating.

Audi Hungária Motor will be provided with geothermal heat for 17 years and might be extended by another 15 years. In September of 203, DD Energy won an award of EUR3.4 million ($4.6 million) from the European Union for an investment in providing a “major company” with heat. It can be assumed that this connects to the contract now signed.

Audi is a German luxury car maker with production facilities in Hungary.
