Refurbishment of generators of Palinpinon plant in Negros Oriental

The plant is located in Valencia, Philippines and Plant 1, after reaching 30 years in operation will now be refurbished by Sulzer.
According to the news piece, The Palinpinon plant in Negros Oriental is now seeing the rebuild of one of the generators of the plant.
As stated above, Plant 1 had been in operation for 30 years and necessary repairs and upgrades were decided to be implement. The contract was won by Sulzer, that will work through its Service Centre in Birmingham, UK. The plant had a 37,5 MW Generator from Fuji but thanks to the new coiling process, the power can now be augmented to 40MW.
